How to make a pixel-lens photo

Tips for pet photos
- Let the face fill the cube: put the cube on the face, then try about 2× shrink and 20–24 cells.

What is a pixel lens?
It is a clear acrylic block covered in tiny lenses. Each lens shows one averaged color, and everything seen through the block shrinks, so a big subject fits into a small grid. This tool recreates that look, glass rim and all, from any photo.
Why do eyes or a nose disappear?
A cell averages a whole patch of the photo, so a small dark eye can blend into the fur around it. With Keep small features on, details that stand out from the cells around them count more, so they stay dark. Making the face bigger in the cube helps the most.
What does the download size change?
Only how big each cell is. The number of cells stays the same, so a bigger download is the same picture with larger squares that stay perfectly sharp.
